I was gone all of yesterday because I was at my first people photo shoot, ever.

They were with my friends, and it went great. Then again, we had to walk 45 minutes to our destination, but we were sidetracked and took photos along the way. It was really fun, but I have no idea if photo shooting people is my thing. I’ll probably do it again though, it was super fun anyways :)

Many a time life is full of entangled thoughts..sometimes I wish I can have a fortune teller telling me what my future would be so I could find the short-cut and get by…then I realize that maybe I don’t need an answer, maybe I don’t need to know the future, I should live to my future and life will give an answer itself…and the entangled beauty is just the part of it…:)

Star trails and northern lights over Elbow Lake, MN.

To create the image I used a full-frame fisheye and shot 27 30-second exposures. I stacked the exposures using LR/Enfuse. Taken just after midnight on August 4th.

This image was picked by Yahoo! Editorial for the Northern Lights Move South gallery, which appeared on yahoo’s front page August 5th. Featured on Minnesota Public Radio’s MN Today. Used on the Duluth’s KDLH 3 News at Ten. Made WTIP’s Photos from the Edge. Shown on CNET.com.

Best picture from my first photo shoot. Trying again today for a crisper shot without glare. Color is good on this anyway.
